Nibbles at The Birdcage

Some snaps from our visit to The Birdcage last week. If you're a fan of cupcakes and all kinds of yummy baked goods be sure to go and check it out - from Nutella to lemon meringue, you'll definitely find a cupcake flavour to your liking. This cafe and tea bar is attached to a lovely gift and home ware shop so take a browse through that too. All this can be found at The Bird Cage, on the corner of Drosdy and Plein/ Van Riebek streets in Stellenbosch.

The Olympia Cafe

Some snaps taken on a few Saturdays ago at Olympia Cafe in Kalk Bay. It was a friends birthday (the one drinking the orange juice!) and we had a delicious breakfast. I'm embarrassed to admit that although I've visited the bakery a few times I'd never actually eaten at the cafe. However, I now plan on visiting it as often as I can. Just look at those summer berries with yoghurt and honey and tell me that you don't want to get there right away!
