Some photos that my lovely friend Lori-Rae took during our visit to the City Bowl Market last Saturday. If you're looking for some market activity tomorrow be sure to consider this option - its a less busy, less expensive and slightly less pretentious (ooohh, did I really say that...eek) version of the Biscuit Mill. Its the perfect place to relax with some friends or to catch a world cup rugby match in a specially designated area. Open from 9am til 2pm every Saturday, with a special fashion market on the 4th Saturday of every month. Find it in the beautiful old Red building on 14 Hope Street, Cape Town - you won't be disappointed! And if , for some strange reason, you are disappointed, at least you can console yourself with some delicious baked goods!

Im Baaaack
Take a look at these:
My sincere apologies for the fact that I've been MIA for the past little while! Time just seems to have gotten away with me. But I am back with a vengance and a whole lot of awesomeness to share! Starting with these three short and super inspiring films.
"3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films."
Love this in more ways than I can express.
Go and visit Rick Mereki

The Olympia Cafe
Some snaps taken on a few Saturdays ago at Olympia Cafe in Kalk Bay. It was a friends birthday (the one drinking the orange juice!) and we had a delicious breakfast. I'm embarrassed to admit that although I've visited the bakery a few times I'd never actually eaten at the cafe. However, I now plan on visiting it as often as I can. Just look at those summer berries with yoghurt and honey and tell me that you don't want to get there right away!
