Check out this installation by Berlin based firm Topotek 1. If you were anything like me as a youngster you probably thought that if you dug a hole deep enough you'd find yourself on the other side of the world. This artwork makes that childhood belief seem possible - its viewers, standing in China, are made to believe that the hole leads to either the USA, Argentina, Germany or Sweden by playing sounds of commuters in NYC, Cows in Argentina, the streets of Berlin and the maritime life of Stockholm. Dreamy.
